Clayton Contributes
Clayton Contributes and Clayton Contributes Fund (CCF) demonstrate how a membership club can be authentically inclusive — by providing clear insights to and tangible evidence of the club’s stated commitment to advancing Opportunity, Equity and Inclusion.
CCF empowers the Clayton Members Club to become a vehicle for "experiential" philanthropy by:
Providing increased visibility, education, and financial support to OEI-focused non-profit organizations and causes;
Providing tools and resources for Members to learn about philanthropy and providing opportunities to engage in dialogue throughout the philanthropic community;
Inviting budding philanthropists to become Members (and to be mentored by seasoned philanthropists on our CCF Advisory Board / Trustees).
Our Mission
Clayton Contributes Fund organizes, inspires and harnesses the power of the Clayton Members and the local community to enable lasting impact for historically underserved or excluded Denver communities.
Our Vision
Clayton Contributes Fund will identify, research, develop relationships with, provide tools to empower, and invest in local, community-based, non-profit organizations. Specifically, Clayton Contributes will work to champion NPOs who demonstrate their shared commitment to our OEI-centered mission and values, and who are working actively with historically underserved or excluded Denver communities to affect positive change.
We will build a sustaining, regenerating fund to give back to historically underserved or excluded communities in Denver and will work to cultivate and demonstrate Clayton's passion for and dedication to the advancement of "experiential" philanthropy.
Our Values
Clayton Contributes Fund will be guided in all that we do by making actionable Clayton's Five Pillars:
Be Authentic >> We will serve with transparency, integrity, and accountability in our relationships and our actions.
Be Inclusive >> We will seek out and listen to disparate voices as we work to organize and leverage the power of the collective.
Be Generous >> We will demonstrate an openness and desire to share generously our time, knowledge, and financial resources in collaboration with our community and our partners.
Be Curious >> We will work to understand the communities we wish to serve and the unique disparities impacting their needs.
Be Fun >> We will seek to find and spread joy in our efforts to promote responsible, compassionate stewardship to our community and education to our Members.
Additionally, the members strive to advance the principles of Opportunity, Equity and Inclusion (OEI), and collaborate with the wider community in an effort to organize and leverage the power of the collective.
What's the difference between Clayton Contributes and CCF?
Clayton Contributes represents the Club's commitment to OEI and philanthropy via programming, member events, etc.
CCF represents the standalone 501(c)3 non-profit entity and the evergreen "fund" — comprised of the 1% CCF surcharge added to every transaction that takes place at Clayton, plus monies raised through grants, fundraising and sponsorships.
